STEP BY STEP | ePackt


Create ePacket Account 

The first step is to create your account on the ePackt.com. Registration is fast and free. Click on the blue button 'SIGN UP, IT'S FREE!' which is located in the upper right corner of the screen. Fill in your information in the fields: FULL NAME, EMAIL, PASSWORD and REPEAT PASSWORD. Click on the 'CREATE ACCOUNT' button. Done! Now you already have your ePackt account and are able to issue discounted domestic and international shipping labels. 

Add Funds

Before you start label creation, make sure you have funds in your ePackt account. If you don't have it or it's your first time, click the green ‘ADD FUNDS’ button in the upper right corner of the screen. You have two options for adding funds to your account: PayPal or Credit Card.

PayPal

Enter the balance amount you would like to add to your ePackt account in the field provided, then click the ‘PAY NOW’ button. You will be redirected to PayPal, so follow the instructions to make your payment.

CREDIT CARD 

Fill in all required fields in the ‘CREDIT CARD INFORMATION’ box and then click the ‘UPDATE CARD’ button. If you want to save the credit card information for future payments, mark the ‘SAVE ADDRESS’ checkbox.

Then enter the amount you would like to add to your ePackt account in the field provided, select which of the credit cards you wish to use to pay, and then click the no ‘PAY NOW’ button. 

Create a Domestic Label  

Click the blue ‘+ CREATE LABEL’ button which is located in the upper left corner of the screen. Follow the numbered sections of the page:

1 - CHOOSE FREIGHT METHOD

Click on the 'DOMESTIC' option and then choose the shipping level you want: PRIORITY MAIL, PRIORITY MAIL EXPRESS or FIRST CLASS. 

2 - PACKAGE INFORMATION

Fill in the package information and select the extra services if desired.

Note: The fields ‘SHIPPING DATE’, ‘DESCRIPTION’ and ‘INSURANCE VALUE’ are NOT required.

3 - RECIPIENT

Fill in the fields with the information of who will receive the package.

Click on the ‘SAVE ADDRESS’ checkbox if you want to save this address to your recipient list.

Note: The fields ‘ZIP4’ and ‘NOTIFICATION EMAIL’ are NOT required.

4 - SENDER

Fill in the fields with the information of who is sending the package.

Click on the ‘SAVE ADDRESS’ checkbox if you want to save this address to your sender list.

Note: The fields ‘ZIP4’ and ‘NOTIFICATION EMAIL’ are NOT required.

5 - CUSTOM TEXT ON LABEL (OPTIONAL)

Fills in these fields are NOT required. Fill in the field only if you want to add a visible note to the label.

CALCULATE > SAVE OR PAY

After completing all required fields click the ‘CALCULATE’ button and then the cost of your shipping label will appear.

You will have two options: ‘SAVE’ label information to issue at a later time (will be saved in the ‘SAVED LABELS’ tab) or ‘PAY’ to issue it immediately.

On the page following the payment you will have a summary of the shipping label and options for: TRACK SHIPMENT, PRINT, DOWNLOAD and VIEW LABEL, as well as your package tracking number. 

Create an International Label 

Click the blue ‘+ CREATE LABEL’ button which is located in the upper left corner of the screen. Follow the numbered sections of the page:

1 - CHOOSE FREIGHT METHOD

Click on the 'INTERNATIONAL' option and then choose the shipping level you want: PRIORITY MAIL, PRIORITY MAIL EXPRESS or FIRST CLASS.

2 - PACKAGE INFORMATION

Choose the package destination country, fill in the package information and select the extra services if desired.

Note: The fields ‘SHIPPING DATE’ and ‘INSURANCE VALUE’ are NOT required.

3 - RECIPIENT

Fill in the fields with the information of who will receive the package.

Click on the ‘SAVE ADDRESS’ checkbox if you want to save this address to your recipient list.

Note: The field ‘NOTIFICATION EMAIL’ is NOT required.

4 - SENDER

Fill in the fields with the information of who is sending the package.

Click on the ‘SAVE ADDRESS’ checkbox if you want to save this address to your sender list.

Note: The fields ‘ZIP4’ and ‘NOTIFICATION EMAIL’ are NOT required.

5 - CUSTOM FORM (OPTIONAL)

Select the ‘CATEGORY' corresponding to the contents of your package.

Note: The ‘EEL / PFC' field is NOT required.

6 - CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORM

Describe the contents of your package.

Note: The field ‘COUNTRY OF ORIGIN’ is not required.

CALCULATE > SAVE OR PAY

After completing all required fields click the ‘CALCULATE’ button and then the cost of your shipping label will appear.

You will have two options: ‘SAVE’ label information to issue at a later time (will be saved in the ‘SAVED LABELS’ tab) or ‘PAY’ to issue it immediately.
